We pride ourselves on our quest for excellence, our faith and tradition and a culture of leadership through teams for both our students and staff. About the position:We are looking for an experienced Alumni Manager and Events Coordinator for a Maternity Leave Cover. You will provide management and support for all internal events at The Scots College. This is a hands on role in not only the management and implementation of all The College’s events, but in the setting up of systems, policies and procedures to streamline the internal events for the future. Every detail, including planning and budget right through to creating the all important 'wow factor' will be your responsibility. This role will work with a tight team who have input into  events and you will be the sole point of contact for all events. The role will also entail coordination of College service staff to support the requirements of all internal events.You will also work with the President and the Old Boys Union Committee to assist with organising Alumni events, plan meetings and work on Alumni strategies to develop ongoing relationships with former students (Alumni) and engagement with the College through a high level of customer service.This position is full-time commencing March 2023 for 12 months. Essential to this role:Exceptional customer service and communication skills5 years of experience with event management Support for the College's Christian vision, beliefs and educational traditionStrong communication skills both written and verbalAbility to exercise discretion at all timesExcellent organisational skillsAttention to detailSuperior standards of professionalism and presentationFurther Information:The College has a strong Christian mission and provides a dynamic educational experience, inspiring our Scots boys to become fine young men of integrity and principle who support each other in their quest for excellence.
