We pride ourselves on our quest for excellence, our faith and tradition and a culture of leadership through teams for both our students and staff. About the roleWe are seeking an exceptional general hand to join our facilities team at The Scots College.This role involves carrying out various duties in respect to repairs, maintenance of facilities, equipment and buildings within the school as well as maintenance projects when required in order to maintain first class condition at the College all year around. The successful candidate must be able to work under minimum supervision.The General Hand will have an active role in being responsible for maintaining a high quality level of readiness for the College’s campuses. The General Hand will be responsible for general duties, including scheduled or reactive maintenance, planning and organising of events to a high level along with working with gardeners from time to time. The General Hand will also arrange supply and purchasing the upkeep of tools and supervise onsite contractors to ensure work is conducted in a safe and timely manner.
