The Heart of the RoleApplications are invited to join The Scots College as Head of the Senior School. As the Head of Senior School you will provide leadership, direction and supervision to the Senior School which consists of approximately 600 boys from Year 10-12 and is co-located with our Middle School campus responsible for Year 7-9 education. You will be a campus leader who oversees the overall quality and experience of boys and parents of the Senior School campus at Bellevue Hill and will lead the Senior School leadership team, while working closely with the College Executive to design and implement the academic, pastoral, sporting and co-curricular programs for boys on the Senior School campus. Who are you?Tertiary qualifications in Education and NESA AccreditationIt is likely that you are someone with a strong personal Christian commitment and alignment with College faith and values statements and an ongoing membership of a Christian community.You have excellent written communication skills.You have previous experience in a leadership position and excellent people management and development skills.You will have demonstrated a commitment to the development of ‘best practice’ strategies in all aspects of College operations.You have the ability and capacity to take a Year 10-12 perspective in decision making.You have a strong commitment to your ongoing learning.You are a person of professional and personal integrity, being flexible and open-minded, proactive and innovative.You have highly effective interpersonal communication skills and a proven ability to speak to large audiences of staff or external stakeholders.You have a proven track record of institutional innovation.You have or can obtain a valid working with children check.
