About the positionThe Scots College is an innovative and creative teaching and learning environment for boys T-12. We pride ourselves on our quest for excellence, our faith and tradition and a culture of leadership through teams for both our students and staff.We are seeking an exceptional Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Compliance Officer to join our progressive and supportive Department. This is a permanent full-time position to assist us in establishing our RTO. Remote working would be considered.The RTO Compliance Officer is responsible for the administration and support of the compliance and quality assurance activities to ensure that The Scots College’s RTO meets the requirements of the VET Quality Framework. It is not a training role.Duties/responsibilitiesManagement of student information from enrolment to completionAVETMISS data reporting and managementAccurate processing and management of student records and data filesEffectively manage training documents issued to and received from trainers and assessorsLiaise with students and trainers with clear communicationComplete compliance checksUndertake day to day administration tasksIssue students with statements of attainment and certificatesMandatory Requirements / ExperiencePrevious RTO experience required with sound knowledge of VET Quality Framework and ASQA standardsWorking knowledge and expertise with Axcelerate Student Management System or similarExperience in participating in RTO auditsDemonstrated computer skills and experience in working with Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) email and the internet;Organisational skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task, plan and prioritise work according to strict deadlines;Strong attention to detail;Strong administration and coordination skills;Demonstrated ability to work within a team;Good written and oral communication skills;Excellent presentation skills;Ability to work within a flexible environment.DesirableCertificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116Vocational qualifications in one of these fields (Business, IT, Agriculture) – an advantage.Please submit a detailed letter covering your skills, knowledge, and experience along with your updated resume including two referees.We offer outstanding opportunities for professional development, a supportive work environment and new experiences.Further InformationThe College has a strong Christian mission and provides a dynamic educational experience, inspiring our Scots boys to become fine young men of integrity and principle who support each other in their quest for excellence.
