This is a full-time opportunity commencing as soon as possible in agreement with the successful candidate. This opportunity will be based at the Senior School 7-12 campus.The successful applicant will prepare athletes under the LTAD Mind Body Heart pathway model to ensure athletes reach their physical potential and reduce injury risk.Key AccountabilitiesProgram design and development within the LTAD Mind Body Heart modelDelivery and coaching of LTAD Mind Body Heart programPhysical testing and load monitoring of student athletesReporting and communicating with Sport Directors and external sporting organisationsManagement of rehabilitation and return to play of student athletesFacility upkeep and quality controlEssential to this roleSports Science degree or equivalentMinimum ASCA level 1 or equivalentExcellent communicatorKnowledge and passion for LTAD of student athletesPreferred skills and experienceCompetence with excel and various software including Teambuildr, Catapult, GymAware and SmartSpeedExperience with adolescent athletes in a variety of sportsAbility to work with large groups and individuals alikeConfident and collaborative team playerPrevious experience working in a school environment is desirable The College offers outstanding opportunities for professional development, a supportive work environment and new experiences.Candidates must demonstrate a positive support for the Christian values of a Presbyterian GPS School.Pre-employment checksAll applicants must have a current NSW Working with Children Clearance.
